With You Kenya
At With Me With You, our work is grounded in care, responsibility and service. Our focus is supporting veterans and first responders here in Australia, but we also believe in using our position to support communities facing serious disadvantage beyond our own. This is reflected in With You Kenya, an ACNC registered charity with DGR status, founded by Dr Alexis Badger.
Our full website is coming soon. While we’re building it, here’s a quick look at who we are and the work already underway.
About Us
With You Kenya supports children, youth and families in the Nyanza Region of southwest Kenya, where poverty, limited access to education and healthcare, and daily insecurity are part of everyday life. We’re a charitable organisation focused on practical, community-led development, work that makes everyday life safer, healthier and more hopeful for the people we work alongside.
We were formally established in 2025, but our story started more than twenty years ago, when Alexis first volunteered in a small village in southwest Kenya as a teenager. That experience sparked a lifelong connection, further study in community development, many trips back, and years of projects and sponsorships with local families. Those early relationships, combined with Alexis’s experience in community development and work with other Non-Government Organisations, shaped the way we work today: lasting change comes from community-led development, where solutions are built with the people who live these realities every day. That principle guides every project we deliver.
Our Mission
Our mission is to give Kenyan children the chance to learn, pursue higher education and build a livelihood that supports their family and community, while walking alongside communities in locally led development.

Our vision is a Kenya where every child has the chance to learn, and every community has the support to grow. By investing in education today and building community capacity for tomorrow, we’re helping break cycles of disadvantage and support the next generation.

Our Work
We focus on practical programs that make everyday life safer and create long-term opportunities for children and families. Every project is designed with the community and delivered alongside local leaders.
Our Impact
Life in rural Kenya comes with daily challenges. Many families face extreme poverty, unsafe water, food insecurity, overcrowded housing and real barriers to schooling – all of which shape a child’s ability to learn, stay healthy and build a future.
Our work is designed to meet these challenges directly. By improving access to education, strengthening community health and investing in long-term solutions like clean water and sustainable food, we’re helping break cycles of disadvantage and open new opportunities for the next generation.
Giving Back
Giving back isn’t an optional extra for us, it’s part of how we understand responsibility and purpose. Supporting With You Kenya means investing in education, equality and opportunity: helping children stay in school and families build safer, healthier lives.
We believe that those with the capacity to give should do so thoughtfully and consistently, contributing to something larger than ourselves, and to change that creates opportunity for generations to come.
